Varsity Vantage - End of Year Volleyball Recap

As the season draws to a close each year, family and friends gather at the banquet to celebrate the team’s success, even if they couldn’t be there for every moment. To bring the season to life one last time, I had the privilege of serving as the lead editor for this project, supported by the Varsity Vantage team. I also had the honor of filming their annual Pink Out game, which raises funds to support local individuals in their fight against breast cancer.

I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and the opportunity to highlight the team’s journey to the state finals. My hope is that this recap video captures the love of the game and the competitive spirit that will stay with the seniors long after their season ends.

Through the Glass - Full Documentary Production

DocPoster1.png

Growing up in a very sports centered family, there is no closer knit community than hometown sport teams. The relationships made between teammates, coaches, and parents go way beyond the ice. In a year-long effort to capture the magic of a hometown story that came full circle at Penn State, I had the pleasure of being a co-Director of Photography, and lead Editor for this project. This production included an international shoot in Canada to capture their hometown stories. I couldn't be more excited to see what steps are next in their careers and have more eyes to see what amazing players and people these women are!

Knowledge is power, but students need the access to hear the conversations that are changing the world. During my IEEE internship, I was tasked with editing and branding each 2022 Rising Star Conference sessions to make sure all the videos were uploaded and well organized. This allowed students around the world to stream lessons and breakout rooms they might need heading into their young careers.

It isn't a secret that Engineering is dominated by the male gender. This Woman in Engineering Conference by IEEE held a panel that highlighted the power of women rising in this industry. I created the thumbnail as well as edited this virtual panel to ensure their power message would be received loud and clear. This panel opened the conversation for more women and people to become inspired by these amazing people.

IEEE - 2023 Vision Innovation Challenges Summit Medal Interviews

A number of IEEE awards recipients are often overlooked from a lack of awareness about what revolutionizing impacts they have made to the world of science. In this case, each award winner was interviewed to highlight their achievements and I was tasked with taking multi-camera interviews and making them come to life when watching in real-time. IEEE.tv was able to feature each medal winner and get the recognition they deserve around the world!

Harnessing the Horror - Documentary Project

Penn State's No Refund Theater receives such little attention on campus for the talent and entertainment quality displayed at every show. This show demonstrated the identities of two college students who are challenged and expressed through a production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I took on the editor role in this project to bring these people's stories to life as well as their characters on stage. This production allowed the audience to see another side of this theater production as well as a closer look at everyday Penn State students.
